Essentials for the best cozy night in

As much as I love summer and sunny warm days, I have to admit one thing: rainy days are also the best! It's the best excuse to stay home and chill and now that Christmas is around the corner, we plan to do a Harry Potter marathon as we always do, they are the best movies for this time of the year after all.

Here are my essentials for the best night in...

Lots of fluffy cushions - We recently got a new large couch and I invested in some new velvet cushions. I love neutral colours for winter, grey, black and beige and I am planning to pick a couple of festive prints as well for Christmas.

Pizza - we have a tradition in our house: every Friday it's a pizza and movie night and we usually do a marathon on our favourite tv series such as Game of Thrones or Friends or Sex and The City (ok, my husband doesn't like Sex and The City that much, it's too girly for him but sometimes he enjoys it, depending on the story of the episode we are watching).

Hot chocolate - it's that time of the year when we bring our best mugs and enjoy countless amount of hot chocolate. I personally looooove chocolate in general and hot chocolate is my fave drink for winter. And with the addition of marsh mallows, heaven on earth!

Candles - need I say more? Candles make the best atmosphere for a cozy night in. I recently picked a couple of new ones that I light every afternoon when I get home and my best scents are vanilla and orange. Omg vanilla smells so good.

Pyjamas - I am guilty of owning too many pairs of pyjamas. The ones we are wearing are from UK Lingerie and they are the softest pyjamas I have ever tried. They have a large variety to choose from, I chose this cute pink pair* of pyjamas (you know I love pink) with a lovely bird design and a beautiful black bow. My husband is wearing a grey set* and both sets are true to size and so cozy.
