Pearls. An old time classic trend that never gets old and somehow, designers found the way to bring this trend back. Pearls are a symbol of elegance and And I am not talking about pearl statement earrings and necklaces that each and everyone of you owns in your collection or a pair of pearl studs you inherited from your grandmother.
I am talking about pearls on clothes. We've seen them on runways for Fall 2017 and Spring 2018 collections for Chanel, Miu Miu, Gucci and Moschino and this trend is everywhere in the shops. And of course, as a fashion lover and shopaholic myself, I couldn't pass this lovely trend and I choose a couple of clothing items to add to my wardrobe.
I chose this grey wrap sweater* for three reasons; 1) I love grey coloured clothes for winter, it's a great alternative for black 2) I fell in love with the pearl details all over the sweater 3) this piece will look great with everything. Jeans for a relaxed outfit, black pants, a pleated skirt for a night out for dinner or paired with a pencil skirt for the office.
For this look, I wore the sweater with a pair of black velvet leggings that I am obsessed with and black boots. The addition of a pearl necklace adds elegance and makes the outfit more luxurious. And lately, I am obsessed with hats, I used to dislike hats on be (my head is big and everything looks awkward haha) but lately I have been wearing them a lot. Great accessory to upgrade any simple winter outfit.

I also picked this black scalloped sweater* that I wore last Sunday afternoon and this is a more relaxed sweater but equally beautiful. It has white pearls all over the sleeves in two sizes, small and large pearls and the material is thinner so you will need a jacket when going outside.
It has a scalloped detail at the bottom and looks lovely paired with leggings, you may noticed that I wear leggings a lot, they are comfy and stylish at the same time and this pair of velvet leggings takes the whole concept to another level.
