Two months ago, I was going through a difficult period in my life but this made me realize many things about my life and life in general, and what things are important or not. Bad situations happen to all of us and it is really important to find things that make up happy and things to be thankful for. And today, I will discuss five things that make me really really happy!
♥ I tried the Keratin Straightening Treatment on my hair and it's amazing! My hair feels soft and smooth and requires a very little maintenance and styling time is reduced to the minimum. I totally recommend it to all girls out there that struggle with frizzy hair. This treatment lasts for 6 months and you just wash your hair like you normally do and after that, you use your blow-dryer for five minutes in medium heat until your hair is completely dry (it takes me 5-7 minutes) and voila! My hair has never looked like this before and I am so happy I decided to try this treatment. And for the next 6 months, I will not use a straightening or curling iron! Yayy!
♥Taking pictures outside the house. We went on the mountains for two weekends in a row and the weather was just perfect. Sunny but chilly and the colours of the leaves, trees and flowers are extra-ordinary and these colours are perfect for pictures! I love this season for the first time, I truly am.
♥ I started baking again, it's been a year since I baked and I missed it a lot! I want to try new muffin recipes and I want to take my beloved chocolate cake recipe to the next level and make it perfect.
♥ I have been ordering lots of goodies lately (oops!) so coming home to find many packages makes me so happy! Clothes, accessories, cosmetics, christmas decoration! Unboxing makes me feel like it's christmas every day!
♥ Having coffee with great friends on a Sunday afternoon! I love to see my friends and have our coffee at our favorite coffee shop. Friends are an important part to our lives and good friends are priceless!
What have you been loving lately and what things make you happy?
Such a cute post! Nature adventures, baking, and ordering stuff (hehe) are all so fun.

DeleteI'm glad that you're in a better place now, Yiota :) Unboxings are seriously the best! With all the holiday sales, it honestly seems like I'm getting packages everyday almost lol. Baking and getting fresh air are also two of my favorite ways to de-stress :) Good luck perfecting your chocolate cake recipe!

Yesssssss!!!!
DeleteI've read reviews and watched some YouTube videos of gurus mentioning that they got a keratin treatment and how much they've loved it. I've never really considered it until recently because I have curly, frizzy hair and sometimes, I'm just not in the mood for a huge styling session, haha. I'll have to mention it to my stylist the next time I go in. I love baking, too. I don't know, it just makes the home feel that much more home-y and how doesn't love sweet treats, especially this time of year!? I, too, look forward to doing some baking these upcoming weeks, it's always so much fun! Thanks so much for sharing, beauty, and I hope you have the most amazing week ahead!

Keratin Treatment is the best, especially if you have frizzy and difficult to manage hair like me. There are many kinds of keratin treatment so it's best that you do your research first before trying it! You won't regret it! x

You are right!we learn from the bad days and the bad situations and we must always remember to appreciate the small things :)
DeleteAww, this is such a cute post, lovely!! I love your current favourite things so much! I have actually been thinking for a while how much I miss baking & how I haven't done it for ages. Your post is such a sweet reminder to me to just go ahead and do it. I always feel like I have no time. But then again, sometimes you just have to pause, put everything aside and get something lovely done, like baking :)
ReplyDeleteThe friends part hit home for me <3 All my friends are literally 3000 miles away. Hubby's friends (who are also my friends lol) are across the sea. It's nice to meet new people in the area and make new friends but it's just not the same, if that makes sense.
So time we get to spend all together is always so special <3 <3 <3
Because this comment is already very long, I better just briefly say that what makes me happy now is that everyone I love is healthy and managing well. I am so thankful to God for that & just want it to stay that way. Health is the biggest blessing <3

I am not good at baking cookies, I tried a couple of times but I failed :) that's why I love baking cakes and muffins!
DeleteI have pretty freezy hair so I've always been curious about the Keratin Straightening Treatment! Did it leave your hair looking flat because that's one of my worst hair fears lol.
ReplyDeleteStacey + thebambieyes.com
Only the first 4 days where I had to leave my hair unwashed and they were sticky and flat. But now they have volume and they are shiny and soft :)
DeleteIt is so easy to let things affect us, however, holding onto things that make us happy is important. I love baking, I find it so relaxing and that smell... it is just the happiness!

So sorry you've been down, but I too find reminding myself of little things that make me happy can always turn my mood around. I met the mountains were stunning! I wish I could bake. I'm great at cooking and any time I try to make it turns out less than impressive. (;
