Lately, there is so much hype on oils and I bet everyone has used or are using a ton of them. Face oils, body oils, multi-purpose oils. Oils are great for nourishing and repairing dry skin but also, oils give a radiant result and a nice glow. I have been using lots of oils daily, and although I have combination to oily skin, my face loves a good oil and it is amazing how the oil sinks into my skin.
I purchased the Nuxe Huile Prodigieuse Dry Multi-Purpose Oil after I tried it on a sample. In fact, I tried many samples of this product before purchasing it, and honestly, I wonder why it took me so long to actually buy a bottle of this amazing product.

This oil can be used on face, body and hair. But I am using it only on my face since I have too many body oils to use at the moment so I am not ''wasting'' this one on my body; my face needs it more. The scent of it is beautiful. Smells like jasmine and wood and the scent is sweet and not overpowering. It feels nice when applied on the face and you don't need much. A drop or two is more than enough and the oil is fully absorbed after a minute.
I have been using this for two or three weeks now, and the bottle looks like I haven't used any, it is full just like I bought it. Which is amazing! I use it in the morning before applying my SPF cream or BB cream to give my face some extra glow and hydration of course, and also, I am using it at night before my night cream. However, what I love to do with this oil, is to give my face a 2-minute massage. Usually, on Sundays when I have more time, I put 2-3 drops between my fingers and I massage my face and neck until it is fully absorbed and my skin feels extra soft and so moisturized.
I love how this oil is light in texture. It does not make my face more greasy than it already is. I have combination skin and my skin loves it, imagine how good this oil will be for dry skin or dry patches. I will definitely take this with me when on vacation since I will be all day in the sun and I will need extra hydration to restore any damage from it.
The bottle is a clear glass square bottle; nothing special but I really like it. It looks so nice in my dressing room along with my other glass perfume bottles. And although the bottle is made of glass, it is not heavy at all, I experienced a few other products that came in glass packaging and their bottle was so heavy to hold and use.
Have you tried the Nuxe Huile Prodigieuse Dry Oil before? What are your thoughts on using face oils?

I have yet to jump on the oil wagon! I know everyone's been raving about facial oils lately, but I have yet to start using them myself. I do sometimes use a little bit of argan oil, but I tend to add a couple of drops to my night moisturiser. :) I do like the sound of this Nuxe oil, though, it sounds like it's very effective and I'm glad to hear that it smells so lovely, also! Thanks for sharing this fab review, darling. x Kisses. x

Thanks! It's amazing!
DeleteI love using face oil, yet and even though I had a sample once, I haven't tried this one on my face, I've only used it on my body! I'm now regretting not having done so as it seems to be light enough to use as a summer moisturizer!

It's really great, you should give it a try!
DeleteI know many beauty bloggers swore by this but I can't stand the smell. I am not the biggest fan of jasmine scent in general and this one is way too strong for me. :-(

ReplyDeleteI am just as obsessed with oils as the rest of the world, I have to say, I really like the packaging on this. One weird thing I have is that I usually only really fall in love with oils if I like the scent. Because I pop it on generously before bedtime, I like a really soothing scent. Curious about the scent of this one, it sounds really nice, I don't like overly sweet scents. Will add this to the list, great post xxx
ReplyDeleteSuch a beautiful product, Nuxe is the absolute best! xxxxx
