Our weather is still the same, great old summery weather during the day but it started to get chilly at night which makes me oh so happy. I look forward to the day I will start wearing my beloved cardigans that are currently at the back of my closet, patiently waiting for their turn!
But I am not only looking forward to wear my fave old pieces but also, some new items I picked recently, like this amazing floral skirt. Who told you that you can't wear florals in fall?
Every time I write a post on a floral piece, I remember the best quote from my fave movie, The Devil Wears Prada when Miranda, the fashion editor of the magazine, was having a meeting with her colleagues discussing their new magazine issue and one girl said they should do a 'spring editorial with florals'. And then the queen replied 'Florals for spring? Groundbreaking'! Omg I love this scene so much, best fashion quote ever, don't you think?
Anyways, let's get back to this amazing floral skirt*. It comes just below my knees and has a ruffle detail at the hem. Unfortunately, it is sheer and thin, that's why I had to wear a slip underneath but the print is so beautiful and cute and the colors are fab for fall and winter.
I also picked this graceful red polka dot dress* (yes, another red polka dot print, don't judge me!!). It looks amazing on and I paired it with black ankle boots for a casual look but it will also look great with black pumps or high heels. And the addition of a denim jacket is so appropriate now, especially for the evenings where the weather gets cool and crispy.
