New In - Beauty Haul ♥9

Last week I visited Greece for a quick trip for four days with my friends and of course I purchased few things from there. Ok, not few things (noone is buying few things when travelling abroad and visiting new stores that you don't have in our country), I purchased a hell of a lot of
things including makeup, creams, face masks and of course clothes.

Washing and cleansing our face is the most important thing in our beauty routine in order to have a healthy skin. I buy lots of cleansers and this time I bought the
BYPHASSE purifying cleansing gel that it is suitable for all skin types. It's in the form of a gel, it has vitamin E, removes makeup, deep cleanses and purifies the skin.

Of course, I had to pick some goodies from the Essence stand that have been on my wishlist since Essence came out with new products for spring/summer but we don't have them here yet. The Essence Lash Princess Volume Mascara is recommended by many bloggers as one of the best affordable mascaras out there. So of course, I had to try it, I haven't found a mascara that I really really love yet so this may be it. I tried this mascara already, I found it to be a little dry. I don't know if it's the formula of this or my pick that is dry, so please comment below if you have tried it and what is the formula of yours. It defined my lashes a lot but I had to apply at least 6-7 coats to do that.
Also, from Essence I picked the Essence Shading Powder in medium shade, to use for contouring. This powder is not very pigmented but buildable so you can use as much as you want. I haven't tried this yet but I will come back with a review. Last from Essence, I chose a pair of tweezers. I was drawn to them by their lovely and cute design (pink and polka dots? yes please!) but I haven't tried these either.

The L'Oreal Paris Lumi Magique Concealer is another addition to my concealers. I use a concealer even if I am not putting makeup on, I like to cover my dark circles or hide my tired eyes, so concealer is always a product I run out of.

Now, let's put our hands together and give a round of applause, cause I finally managed to find a Body Shop and buy probably the most anticipated product since it came out, haha! This is my favourite purchase from the whole trip!!! Honestly, I was so impatient to find the Body Shop Drops of Youth Bouncy Sleeping Mask. You apply this mask before going to bed and you allow it to sink in while you sleep. Wake up with brighter and smooth skin every morning! Yes!

The Nivea Cellular Radiance Night Serum is perfect to use at night before my night cream and it is supposed to minimise fine lines and wrinkles and also improve firmness and regenerate the cells. The Garnier Micellar Water needs no introduction. I am probably the last girl on earth that purchased this one, although I don't need another makeup removing product, I wanted to try it anyway.

Bodyfarm is a greek brand with natural products and I always buy a body scrub or a body cream when I go to Greece. This time, I chose the Bodyfarm Mango Body Scrub. I like their scrubs a lot, they have lovely scents and this one smells divine, I love mango scent in a body cream or a scrub. The only problem with this is the texture, that is a little too runny for my taste. Last from this shop, I picked the Le Petit Marceillais Dry Oil, with shea butter, argan oil and sweet almond.  It smells great, I cannot wait to use it in the summer when I have a nice tan.

If you are a regular reader here, you must already know that I love face masks.  They are so important to our daily routine cause they give skin that little extra it needs and many nutritional supplements.  Fortunately, my skin is strong enough to handle any mask so I bought plenty of them.

As soon as we got out of our hotel, I noticed in the street opposite us a beauty shop called Oggi.  These are all the products I bought from Oggi and they are extremely affordable and really good.  I believe that this is an Italian brand but I will look further into it.  The Annie blusher (on the left) is my favourite so far.  The colour, the pigmentation and the lasting power of this product is amazing, I haven't met in another one.  I wear this every day since the day I bought it, yes, it is soooo good and it gives me a healthy glow and a nice colour on my cheekbones.  I will come back for more regarding these products and of course, swatches.

So, these are all the products I bought from Greece! I cannot wait to try them out.  Thanks for visiting and I will see you soon.

  1. The Essence Shading powder sounds great, I prefer shading products which aren't very pigmented because I believe the finish is a lot more natural and that way I'm sure I don't make any strip mistakes!

  4. Holy cow, that is an amazing haul! I freaking hate that Essence mascara, it's dry, clumpy as hell and lots of product stuck to the wand making application impossible.

  6. Oooh, yay for he Garner Micellar Water! I really, really, need to try it one of these days! I agree on what you mean with the Essence Mascara but I feel like that with all of their mascaras. All of them left my eyelashes dry and clumpy. No thanks.
