Tips for tired looking eyes

Lack of sleep, stress, many hours in front of the computer, smoking, dehydration and many more are  causing puffy and tired looking eyes. Here are few tips on how to get rid of them:

♥ Sleep at least 8-9 hours

♥ Wash your face with cold water in the morning and splash your face with cold water occasionally during the day

♥ Apply a warm towel over your eyes and relax: it will relax the muscles and relieve the overstressed feeling

♥ Drink more water than you normally do during the day

♥ Use cucumber slices to reduce swelling

♥ Place your used tea bags in the fridge for 1-2 hours and then place them over your eyes for 5-10 minutes and relax; the feeling is amazing

♥ Limit your sodium intake as it can cause water retention

♥ Use an anti-ageing eye cream and an eye mask once a week; it does miracles for the under eye area

♥ Use a yellow-toned concealer to cover up dark circles

♥ Always remove your eye makeup before crashing in your bed

♥ Place two cotton balls in milk, squeeze out any excess and press them gently over your eyes

♥ Place your eye cream in the fridge for a cooling effect; I always keep an eye gel in my fridge and I use it when I feel my eyes extremely tired

♥ Avoid rubbing your eyes as it will cause more swelling

  5. My biggest problem is sodium intake for sure. I love salty food and I wonder why my eyes puffed up sometimes. LOL!

  7. Definitely need to cut down on my sodium! Although sadly dark circles are genetic and partly due to allergies for me so not much I do helps!
