And that is definitely Konnos Bay. I am so lucky to live in this beautiful island and gorgeous summer destination, famous for the most amazing beaches, beautiful sunny weather and great nightlife.
And if I haven't intrigued you to visit Cyprus after finishing reading this post, then I failed miserably!
Konnos Bay is located 2km north of Cavo Greko, near the well know tourist resort Ayia Napa and it's the most beautiful beach with gold sand, pine trees and blue water. True paradise, right? This beach has been awarded the Blue Flag and you can understand the reason.
The beach is 'hidden' between two mountains, that's why the view from above is breathtaking! It's very popular for us locals and also for tourists and extremely busy at weekends and summer season. We choose to visit at week days and also in April or May when it's not too busy, it's like having a private beach for our pleasure.
There are two ways to reach this beautiful beach, from the road where you can park your car just above the beach bar or using the walkway which leads you straight to the beach.
