Stripes and dots

Say hello to the two most popular fashion trends at the moment: stripes and polka dots. If you follow trends or if you are a shopaholic, you must have noticed by now that these two trends are here to stay for spring and summer 2018.

Stripes are everywhere. Polka dots are everywhere.

I am loving both and yes, I had to pick a few more items to add to my wardrobe. It is what a fashion lover does, right? What do you mean no? 😜

I picked this beautiful blue striped dress* with the hope of not being too long on me, when you are a short girl, you know that it's either maxi dresses or above the knee pieces that are ideal for this height (1.59) and bring out the figure.

This dress is perfect to wear to a summer wedding or an event or even to a Christening. I love the off shoulder design and blue and white is a beautiful, romantic combo. I wore this dress with a pair of white wedges, I have been wearing these wedges like crazy lately, they go with every single piece in my wardrobe.

Also, I picked this blue polka dot skirt* to wear every day at the office. It fits lovely around the waist and has faux buttons and pockets. Who doesn't love pockets?

The material is thin but not see-through, perfect for warm days. It is flowy and extremely comfortable. I see myself wearing this skirt a lot and it will look nice in autumn too, with a long sleeve top and denim jacket and boots.

Last, I got this pair of black and white striped trousers*. They are comfortable and ideal to wear at the office with a nice white top or when running errands on the weekend with a cute simple t-shirt. It is flowy and looks like a pair of culottes but it's longer. It can be dressed up or down depending on what you are pairing it with and I think it will look lovely with both high heels and also flat sandals (and maybe a pair of white snickers?)

Do you like these two trends and would you wear them on a daily basis? What are you wearing today?

*I was gifted these items for review purposes from Zaful, all opinions are my own and 100% honest.
