My summer routine is simpler and more effortless than the routine and products I use in winter. I change my routine depending on my skin's needs and also, the weather. In winter my skin tends to get dry and in need of layering serums and sleep mask every other day, but in summer my skin needs deep cleansing and toning.
Today I have these lovely products I have been using constantly (skincare and makeup) and make my skin feel good.
Pixi Glow Tonic - this product needs no introduction. I haven't read a single negative review on this product before purchasing it and I wish I did that earlier. It has glycolic acid that exfoliates and purifies skin and it gently accelerates cell renewal. The result? A brighter and glowing complexion. I have been using this for a while now and every time I use it, I am amazed with how good my skin looks. I think this will be a forever purchase.
Pixi Rose Tonic - I wrote a review on this product a few weeks ago (you can read it here). It is rich in nutrients and a rose hydrosol based toner. It hydrates the skin and gently removes impurities and dirt. It normalises hydration levels leaving a refreshed skin. It contains elderflowers to tone skin, minimise redness and leave compexion cool and calm.
The Pixi Rose Tonic is ideal for sensitive skin and does not cause irritations.
Le Petit Marseillais Body Cream - this range of body creams is amazing. I tried every single scent of the Le Petit Marseillais body creams and I swear, every single scent I try is better than the previous one. They are super hydrating, lightweight and are absorbed nicely and the scent stays for minutes before disappearing. A must try if you love body products.
Christian Breton BB Cream* - my favourite base for this time of the year. I have been using this bb cream since the beginning of spring. It is a lightweight product, comes in two shades, light and medium and medium is the one I am using. (review here).
This Works In Transit Camera Close-Up** - many beauty bloggers love this product and I was so glad I received it in the Look Fantastic Beauty Box to try. And yes, I really love it and I will purchase full size when I finish it.
W7 Matte Blush (On The Edge) - a matte powdery blush in a beautiful pink shade. Unfortunately, this is not that pigmented but you need to build it up but it leaves a lovely matte color on the cheeks. I have been using it a lot in the last couple of weeks.
Sunkissed Bronzer - I haven't used this bronzer since last summer and I re-dicovered this a week ago when I was de-cluttering my face products. It gives a lovely natural glow to my cheeks and I usually swirl my brush to pick all shades and apply with a light hand for a natural sunkissed glow.
