My friend Jennifer from Effortlessly Sophisticated wrote a post a while ago on leopard print and how she considers this print to be a neutral. I couldn't agree more. Leopard print is neutral!
Leopard print goes with everything. You can pair leopard printed accessories with any colour and uplift the outfit. Imagine a grey leopard sweater with a pink clutch and pink earrings. Or a brown leopard dress with green accessories.
This girl rocks leopard print like nobody else, especially when she pairs it with red statement pieces. I have many pieces in my wardrobe and leopard print never goes out of style, it just evolves. When I was at my parents' house the other day, we were looking at some old photos and my mom was rocking leopard coats and cardigans back in the 80's, paired with bell bottom jeans and 12cm wedges.
I myself love this print so much, I bought a grey leopard coat from New Look last winter and it's such a beautiful piece. I have been eyeing this short sleeve leopard dress too for spring, black and white leopard print with yellow accessories, what a beautiful combo it would be.
I received this cardigan* a while ago and I have been wearing it with jeans, black trousers and black dresses. The material is thin so it would be ideal to wear in spring too.
It has a grey collar that is a lovely contrast with the white and brown of the print, that's why I wore my grey knit hairband that I bought recently on the sales.
