Summer lipsticks

Happy Friday lovely friends!! Are you excited for the weekend? Do you have any plans or getting ready for your summer vacation? I have plans for Saturday and Sunday, I plan to spend both days at the beach, with a nice book and a cocktail in my hand, spending time at the beach makes me so happy and the sound of the waves relaxes me so much.

For today's post, I have five lovely lipsticks I have been wearing these days and they are all bright shades and creamy formulas. With the high temperature and humidity at 40%, I seek for comfort and I could not use a dry liquid lipstick by any means, I just couldn't stand having a dry formula on my lips.

London Girl Wellness 133 - this is a new addition to my lipstick collection and I scored this one a month ago from a discount store. I haven't seen this brand before but the formula and colour of this lipstick are really great. This is a beautiful fuchsia shade similar to the Rimmel Kate Moss 36, in fact if you put these two together they look the same.

L'Oréal Glam Intense Matte Gloss Lip Shade 510 Cherry Crop - this gorgeous shade from Loreal is a fuchsia pink with a nice creamy formula and it is incredibly pigmented, it produces a great vibrant colour with only one swipe. It applies smoothly on the lips and gives a bright colour and also, it dries to a velvety matte finish without being dry. The lasting power is great, 5 hours for a creamy product like this one is impressive.

Rimmer Kate Moss 36 - a creamy and soft lipstick in the most beautiful light fuchsia shade. The Rimmel Kate Moss lipsticks have an amazing formula and if you haven't tried them yet, you really should. This promises to last up to 8 hours on the lips but on me, it lasted 3 hours and it transfers easily on everything my lips touch; glass, cup, food, you get the idea. But the colour is really sweet and romantic and looks nice on all skin tones, I have been wearing it when I was pale in spring but it looks even prettier now that I have a tan.

Wet n Wild Megalast Stoplight Red - The one of the two red shades that looks amazing on me is the Stoplight Red by the Megalast Range of Wet n Wild lipsticks.  The Wet n Wild lipsticks are well know for their long lasting power, they last up to 8 hours on the lips and they can be a little dry on the lips, so a lip balm is needed before applying it. It is a true red shade and great for anyone that wears bright red lipsticks in summer. The only problem with this one, is the fact that it doesn't twist down the tube and I always create a mess when I put the cap on.

Colourpop Lippie Stix in Bossy - I talked about these lip products here and Bossy is described as a classic red with blue undertones and matte finish. It is a bright red shade and I didn't think the colour was going to be that intense when I ordered it, I was scared to put it on my lips but I am excited to say that it looks so beautiful on me. The formula is creamy and applies nicely on the lips and feels super comfortable. My only regret is that I didn't order more when Colourpop offered free shipping for a couple of days so I guess I will have to wait until they have another free shipping offer.

What lipsticks have you been wearing and loving recently? Give me some ideas!

Thank you for visiting and I hope you have a lovely day today and the best time in the weekend! x
