If you remember the post I did for the ELF Jumbo Eyeshadow Pencil in French Lace a while back, you must already know that I love shimmery eyeshadows and I usually use only one eyeshadow for everyday makeup. In the morning I don't have much time to do my makeup so it must be something quick and you know a girl has to have some shimmer before leaving the house!
This shade looks a bit darker in the tube than it actually is. In reality, it's a rose champagne shade with shimmer of course and velvety texture.
I usually don't prefer single eyeshadows because I find it difficult to search for the one you are looking for in your drawer and I prefer eyeshadow palettes, but when I saw this one, I knew I had to have it. I love these rose shimmery shades so much and this one is not a disappointment.
This eyeshadow applies smoothly and blends nicely, leaving a lovely rose colour on the eyelid and a nice shimmer. Just the right amount you need for an everyday look. If I am wearing this on a night out (I haven't yet), I may apply more to give definition and emphasize the colour. Also, it blends nicely and of course, I am not using the little brush that comes with this eyeshadow, I never use these small brushes because I find it impossible to work and blend my eyeshadow using a brush like this.
The packaging is a plastic one that I really don't like and also, I always have a hard time opening it. It is so difficult to open it and takes some effort, however, I am afraid to put my whole energy in case I drop it and break it.
