Milani Colour Statement Lipsticks - Plumrose & Sangria

Hello girls! Today I have another lipstick post, omg, how many new lipsticks did I purchase in the last month? Fall is always a season I get excited to renew my lipstick collection and purchase more dark lipsticks, cause I love wearing dark shades.

Milani is a brand I tried in the past and I keep reading about it regularly on posts. I tried their liquid lipsticks (you can ready my review on the Milani Amore Matte Lip cream in Allure here and my review on the Milani Amore Mattalic in Automatic Touch here) but not their lipsticks so I thought I would take a shot at and order a couple to try.

These Milani lipsticks are super moisturising and longlasting. On me, they lasted about 5-6 hours which is really amazing, since usually a lipstick that is so moisturising does not last for long on the lips. They are creamy and very pigmented. The packaging is a nice gold tube that looks elegant and the shade is written at the bottom.

Plumrose: this shade is love at first sight. It is the perfect warm pink shade, not too dark, not too light. Can be worn in summer but in winter too and makes skin appear fresh and bright.  This one is supposed to be a dupe for MAC Craving, but I don't own this one so I cannot tell for sure. But I made my search and found that they are quite similar.

Sangria: this shade reminds me so much of the Wet 'n' Wild Sugar Plum Fairy that I really love and also of the ColourPop Lippie Stix in Tiger that I purchased not a long ago. It is a deep pinkish plum shade, in my opinion, the perfect shade for fall. This one is drier than Plumrose and in some days I must use a lip balm before applying this since it dries my lips. The finish is matte and the formula is not as creamy as Plumrose, but still creamy.  This shade is really flattering and it is considered to be a dupe for MAC Rebel. I will be wearing this one a lot in winter, you know I love my dark lipsticks in winter.

I love both shades and I wish I ordered more, but for now, I will make sure I enjoy these two and I will definitely wear them a lot. And as I said earlier, Plumrose can be worn in spring and summer too, it would be perfect for days when you wear minimal makeup and you want a lovely bright lipstick.

I purchased the Milani Colour Statement Lipsticks from Beauty Joint for $5.99 each.
