This is not the first Essence Nail Gel polish I use, I have plenty of them but I don't remember why I did not write a review on these products before.
The difference of these gel nail polishes is the fact that their formula is thicker than the usual nail polish, it is actually like a watery gel, as the name states, but it dries beautifully, it is highly pigmented and gives a nice shine on nails. Also, it lasts longer than any other nail polish and for this reason and only, I am very pleased with these.
The brush is larger than usual, which I really like and I find it easier to use as it glides beautifully on the nails. I don't know why other brands still make brushes too small to use and you need to keep applying and applying the colour until the nail is fully covered. But this wider brush makes painting my nails so easy.
Two coats usually do the job perfectly and the result is a lovely glossy finish. However, this nail polish does not dry super fast like many other similar products. I painted my nails, waited for 2-3 minutes and then I applied the second coat and waited for at least 10 minutes.
Do you speak love? is a lovely dark red shade that I chose to wear especially in fall and winter and it would be the perfect shade to wear on Christmas day. On camera it looks slightly brighter and lighter than it actually is, but in real life, it is the perfect dark red shade.
On me, it lasted 4 days without chipping and after that, there was a slight wear at the tip of my nails, which is a miracle for me since a regular nail polish would last only 2 days.
