Mascaras - What I have been using

Hello girls! Today I have a post about the four mascaras I am currently using and testing, and I must admit I found some affordable and really good mascaras.

I am always on the hunt to find the perfect mascara, but I haven't tried any high-end ones so I cannot give a complete opinion on what is the perfect mascara cause I haven't tried any expensive ones that are said to be really really good. But I have been testing these four and I will give you an honest review on how they performed on me.

Essence Get Big Lashes Mascara
 Very black and intense colour
♥ Nice and attractive packaging
♥ Big tube and large wide wand
♥ Thick formula
  Gives volume
♥ Gives length
♥ Defines lashes like a dream
♥ Curls lashes
♥ Clumps after 3-4 coats
♥ Sometimes it picks up too much product and
you don't need that much
♥ Long-lasting
♥ Great for every day and night time
♥ Excellent for night/formal makeup
♥ Easy to remove
****

Essence Plump No Clump! Volume Mascara
♥ Deep black colour
♥ Cute packaging with lovely colours
♥ Gives volume
♥ Gives length
♥ Lashes appear thicker
♥ Does not curl lashes that much
♥ Large wand - wide bristles that separate lashes
♥ Creamy formula
♥ Needs 3-4 coats
♥ Does not flake
♥ Long-lasting
****

W7 Lashed Up Mascara
♥ Adjustable wand that bends into an L shape
♥ Easy to use
♥ Difficult to push wand back in tube because of
the bendable wand
♥ Good length
♥ Medium volume
♥ Does not flake
♥ Wet formula
♥ Separates lashes well
♥ Great for every day use
♥ Needs 5-6 coats or more
***

W7 Lengthening Thickening Mascara
♥ No intense colour
♥ Nice wand and brush
♥ Separates lashes easily
♥ No flaking
♥ Not much volume
♥ Medium length
♥ Drier formula than the other mascaras
♥ Needs 7-8 coats to define lashes
♥ Would be great for bottom lashes
♥ Packaging is not attractive at all
♥ Easy to remove
**

I must say that the first two Essence mascaras are really nice and define my lashes well. They are very affordable (under 5 euros) and I am really impressed with their performance.

What is your favourite mascara that gives both length and volume? And what have you been trying lately?
