Milani Baked Blush - 03 Berry Amore

Hello girls! How are we today? This is a new month and a new post! How is it August already? Isn't it yesterday that it was May and we were so anxious and excited for summer to start? Anyways, I hope you are having a lovely summer so far (and you are handling the hot hot weather well, here in Cyprus the weather is 40-42°C.  I want to be every day at the beach and enjoying my cocktail. Can I do that?

This is my first Milani blush I have ever ordered and although I love to go to a store and swatch all products available in the shelf, most of the time I order online cause here in my country, not all brands are available. So I place lots of orders online and pray to God that I will receive what I ordered and not a strange shade/colour that is not wearable.
When I ordered the Berry Amore blush, I expected to receive a different shade than the one arrived on my doorstep.  But I don't mind, cause this blush is gorgeous. And I mean, gorgeous!

This is not a berry shade like the name says; it is a combination between a warm peachy toned and a dusty pink, together with a golden shimmer.  Looks amazing on my cheeks and the first time I tried this, I was amazed with how easy it was to apply and how beautifully it coloured my cheekbones.

It is a combination of blush and bronzer and it gives a nice shimmer to the skin.  This is highly pigmented and you only need very little to apply.  It also gives you a nice golden complexion mixed with the peach tone and it looks awesome with my fresh tan (I was on holidays and brought with me as a souvenir the nicest tan!). I also use this blush in lazy days when I only wear my sunscreen and it makes my skin look more radiant and fresh.

I love the packaging. The golden pan looks elegant and expensive and there is a lot of product in there.

I am very pleased with this purchase and I recommend this blush to everyone!

What is your opinion on the Milani blushes? Have you tried them? Do you have one to recommend?

  2. Wow, that really is gorgeous :) I've never tried Milani blushes, but I did hear a lot about them :) I would really like to try some of them :) The weather in Croatia is around 30-33 degrees, so it's not as hot, but still... I hope you do get an opportunity to be at the beach and drink cocktails every once in a while :) That's what my weekend will look like :) x

  5. Quite strange that this is called berry when it really clearly isn't, however it's gorgeous nonetheless!

Also jealous of your weather, it's raining in the UK - as always!

  20. I've never tried any Milani blushes, but I've heard great things about them, and this one sounds like no exception! You're right, though, it definitely doesn't look like a berry color.
