Summer hairstyles with scarves

In summer, I love to create cute and playful hairstyles and I always use flowers, headbands, flower crowns, elastic bands with gems or embellishments or scarves to create them. Summer is all about having fun and play with our wardrobe to create original outfits.

I love using scarves in general but especially I love using scarves on my hair and there are so many ways to do that. Today I will show you a few ideas! So let's see!

Rock style: take a bandana and fold it diagonally until it becomes the size of a headband. Tie it at the back and style with sunglasses and hoops! This style is my favourite!

Bun camouflage: If you are having a bad hair day, this is a perfect way to get away with it.  Make a bun at the top of your head and tie a colourful scarf around your head. Leave loose end as it is.  Stylish and easy and no-one can tell that your hair was a mess!

Head cover: I love to make this style when I go to the beach.  It's a perfect way to cover hair and protect from the sun if you are not using any sun protection for hair.  Fold a larger scarf to create a big a triangle and start from your forehead to tie it at the back or at one side.

Braided scarf: This hairstyle is so cute and easy. Perfect for long hair! Start with putting your scarf like we did on bun camouflage above, with your hair down.  Then, using your two loose ends, create a braid with the scarf in two strands and secure with an elastic band!

Bow bun: Create a loose messy bun and secure with an elastic band.  Then tie a thin scarf around it and create a fun bow on the top! Easy!

Fun braid: make a ponytail at the back of your head and braid hair in a basic braid. You can do fishtail braid if you want! Then tie a scarf at the top of it, hiding your elastic band and voila!

Bandana tie: Last but not least, a pin-up look using my favourite bandana. Make a messy bun and bring your bandana from the back of the head and tie it at the front! You can use any colour of bandana you want, I have a black, a red one and a pink!

So these are some ideas to create hairstyles for summer! Hope you have a great weekend and I will see you soon!
