The reason behind this decision is the fact that I found an easy homemade recipe for a natural face scrub that makes my skin unbelievably soft and smooth, gives me the natural benefits of honey and also, makes my skin glow. I tried lots of scrubs before trying this natural recipe but none gave my face all these benefits. Either the grains were too small, either non-existant or the scrub was too runny to be applied perfectly and exfoliate my face.
So this recipe is perfect for my needs. It's natural, it does what it is supposed to do and the result is a healthy-looking face and when I touch my face after using this, it feels like a baby's bottom.
Ingredients:
2 tablespoons honey
1 tablespoon fine sugar
You mix these two ingredients together and you apply to your face using soft and circular motion. I usually do this in the bath and I love to leave it for 2-3 minutes on, and also, I use any excess product to exfoliate my hands.
If you like a soft and clean face, you should try this. It is the best scrub I have ever used and I don't think I will find a product that does the same great job as this homemade recipe.
Thanks for this! I prefer using natural products on my face as I have sensitive skin. I also like to grab a handful of oatmeal, and clench in my fist whilst pouring warm water over my hands. The oats get a little bit softer and then I use it as a cleanser.

Sugar is really great and leaves skin so smooth!
DeleteI love diy masks and scrubs, and anything else, really... This one is basically a classic... I love grinding up some rice and mixing it in with some milk... It leaves my skin wonderfully soft :) x

I love diy masks and scrubs too!
DeleteI bet if it touches your lips it must be delicious as well, haha! I am going to try this, I found every exfoliant I have has that tingly sensation and sometimes even feel like my face is burning, this seems to be a great solution for it, and after all, the most natural the better!

Haha I once put raw honey on my face as a face mask and the temperature of my skin melted the whole thing and it started running in downwards my mouth. I think I ate half the amount that was on my face haha!
DeleteThis is such a great idea. I love the Greek honey, I light eat some too at the same time haha. Gemma x

I love how easy this is! I think I would be too scared to use this on my face for fear of it breaking me out, but I'd love to use a scrub like this on my feet or hands or even legs.
